Outreach and Mentorship
Mathematics
- In summer 2025, I was a counselor for PROMYS, a six-week summer program for advanced high school students to explore elementary number theory and related topics.
- From summer 2023 to fall 2024, I served as the president of MIT’s Undergraduate Society for Women in Math (USWIM). I helped organize the MIT math department’s annual career panel—Math in Industries—in 2022 (as a lead organizer), 2023, and 2024.
Astronomy and Science Education
- During the first few years of the NASA Exoplanet Watch program, I helped to expand its reach significantly through the Exoplanet Research Workshop (2020–2022), designing a publicly accessible curriculum and compiling online resources on exoplanet science and citizen astronomy. I presented on our work in astronomy and science education at the AGU Fall Meeting and the AAVSO Annual Meeting. In 2024, this work was featured in the open-access book How and When to Involve Crowds in Scientific Research.
- As an intern with the Adler Zooniverse team in 2021, I co-authored the third volume of Into the Zooniverse, highlighting community-driven projects that aim to advance scientific progress.
